Welcome Bonus: How to qualify and what will I receive?

To get your welcome bonus, you must meet the conditions of the offer you signed up with. The offer you get will also depend on when you signed up for your Card. Please see the table below for more detail.

* Bonus miles are typically awarded within 23 days. Offers available to new Cardholders only and may be amended or withdrawn at any time.

** By "foreign currency" we mean any payments made in a currency that's not GBP. This includes physically spending in abroad locations and spending online in a foreign currency.

*** To qualify, spend must be made during your original Welcome Bonus period (within first 12 months of ordering your card)

**** Earn up to 10,000 bonus miles when you purchase and complete your first United-operated flight within six months: 3,000 miles for United Economy, 7,000 miles for United Premium Plus, 10,000 miles for United Polaris. Offers available to new Cardholders only and may be amended or withdrawn at any time. Once you have completed your first flight, any questions about when the bonus miles will be allocated to your United Airlines account, should be directed to the United Airlines Customer Care team.
