Why do I need to complete identity verification?

As part of your sign-up journey, you may be asked to complete an identity verification check. This helps us confirm your identity and keep your account secure.

We work with Entrust (formerly Onfido) as our trusted identity verification provider. If you’re asked to provide identification documents, these will be requested and processed through Entrust’s secure platform. Any verification link provided to you for this purpose is legitimate and safe to use.

What happens after I submit my documents?

Once you’ve submitted your details, a member of our team will review your application. We may need to request further information if required.

We’ll contact you by email within 2 working days with an update on your application.

Will I need to complete identity verification after I’ve opened my account?

We may need to carry out additional identity verification checks from time to time throughout our relationship with you.

As we operate under strict legal and regulatory requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) obligations, we may need to verify your details to ensure the information we hold is accurate and up to date, keep your account secure and meet our regulatory responsibilities.

If further verification is required, we’ll contact you with instructions on what you need to provide. You may be asked to take a photo of your original passport or driving licence using a secure verification link. We recommend completing this on a mobile device. Please note that scans and photocopies cannot be accepted.

Your card may be temporarily frozen while we complete the verification process. We’ll let you know once your documents have been received and verified.
